Pythagorean Theorem The Pythagorean Theorem is an equation many architects can use while designing famous buildings. The Pythagorean theorem states In a right triangle, the sum of the squares of the lengths of the legs is equal to the square of the length of the hypotenuse. If an architect is building a square structure, he or she can split the square into two triangles. If the architect knows two sides, then they can easily figure out the third side. By using the Pythagorean Theorem, the life of an architect can be easier in terms of determining measures of different side lengths.
